Warehouse Person (Loader) - Full-Time

Job Description: This labor-intensive role involves loading transport, bulk, and route trucks, requiring strict attention to order accuracy for both outgoing and incoming shipments. Using a forklift and/or electric pallet jack, you’ll build loads from order sheets, ensure accuracy, and comply with shipper/receiver documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe work environment and working across various weather conditions.

Key tasks:
- Load transport trucks by moving items from the warehouse to trailers and unloading returns.
- Unload vehicles and organize items in designated warehouse spaces.
- Lift high volumes of product (400-10,000 lbs per case) repeatedly during long shifts, involving constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
Primary Job Accountabilities:
Drive hi-lift to picking area and build pallets/loads per load sheets or voice-pick audio (if applicable).
Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
Wrap pallets upon completion.
Submit paperwork for review before loading and ensure truck inspection.
Stage pallets/loads into trucks when ready.
Complete and store partial or mixed pallets.
Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
Ensure regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Basic Qualifications:
18 years or older.
Must pass a drug screen.
Pass a physical capabilities test (if applicable).
Pass a forklift skills test (if applicable).
Pass a background check.
Helpful Experience:
Warehouse work (e.g., product storage, staging, forklift operation).
Forklift driving (e.g., forward/backward movement, lifting/lowering boom, maneuvering in tight spaces without damage).
Racking systems and pallet handling (e.g., loading/unloading pallets, maximizing vertical storage).
Team collaboration (e.g., working with co-workers, joint problem-solving).
